Fix iExplore Application Error

Follow the following steps to find out how to correct the issue.

Clearing Temporary internet Files
Start by opening internet explorer and then selecting Tools, Internet Options. Select the option to clear the temporary cache and temporary internet files. This should make it much easier to fix the problem and ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

Uninstall Toolbars
Open your control panel and select Add/Remove Programs. Use this to uninstall all of the toolbars which are currently installed on your computer. Toolbars used in Internet explorer can slow your computer down and could potentially make it very slow.

Registry Scan
Download a registry scanning utility and scan your computers registry with this. The registry is a large database which stores all of the settings for your computer. If there are any corrupt entries in the registry then this can cause iexplore errors. Make sure that you back up the entire registry before scanning though as this will guarantee that no matter what happens your computer will be safe.

Reinstall
Another option is to download a new version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft website and attempt to install it. If the problem is caused because of a corrupt installation then this might be enough to solve it.
Reinstall Windows

The last and most extreme option is to reinstall windows by using the original installation media that came with your computer. This should fix all of the errors with your computer including iExplore application errors.

Internet Explorer will not open fixed

Now I should mention that resetting Internet Explorer, which is what this does, will reset your preferences such as your homepage, installed add-ons, etc.

1. Click “Start”, type “inetcpl.cpl” (without quotation marks) into “Search” bar and press “Enter” to open the “Internet Options” window.

2. Switch to the “Advanced” tab.

3. Click “Reset…” to reset Internet Explorer settings.

4. Check “Delete personal settings” box and click “Reset” to confirm the operation.

5. Click “Close” when the reset process is complete.

6. Click “Restore advanced settings” button and click “OK”.

7. Close the Internet Explorer window and restart IE to check the issue.

How to Know Your Computer Has Been Hacked

When a hacker gets into your computer, he needs to access the computer's resources by logging in your some account. You can determine if your computer has been hacked in one of two ways. Find out if there are computer accounts you have not created, or if any of your legitimate computer accounts has been accessed without your knowledge.

Instructions to know how your Computer Has Been Hacked

1) Log in to your computer as an Administrator.

2) Click "Start," then type "run" into the search box. Click the "Run" link. Type "cmd" into the text field and press Enter. A new Command window will open.

3 ) Click on the newly-opened Command window to select it, then type the following command:

net user

Press "Enter." Windows will list all existing accounts on the computer.

4)  Check if an account has been created without your permission. Verify that all accounts in the output of "net user" have either been created legitimately. If there are additional accounts, those accounts were likely created by a hacker.

5)  Examine all legitimate accounts to see if any have been misused. Check the date and time of the last log-in. If the most recent log-in occurred at an abnormal time, a hacker is likely responsible.

How to Work with SharePoint Projects

The first way that an Access specialist can work with SharePoint is to value add the many templates that come built into SharePoint. If you look at Figure 1, you will see some of the many templates that can be used.

Now to illustrate what happens when you select a template, let’s choose the Issue Tracking template. This creates a SharePoint list. In Figure 2, you can see that I have added the first record using a web browser a few minutes after creating the template. To add a record, choose the New button (shown in a green circle in Figure 2) and you will be presented with what looks like a standard Access form (Figure 3). You also have the option, on computers running newer browsers, to enter the data using a DataSheet form (Figure 4). It is important to note that both Figure 3 and Figure 4 are SharePoint forms that work straight out of the box. It is also good to know that under the hood of the forms and lists are many properties that can be modified to come up with a better custom solution. Access developers will feel right at home when they dig into the properties.

Lets Link to the SharePoint List/Table

In all my time using Access, there is one thing that has always been valuable and that is linked tables.  Now you will be pleased to know that linked tables with read/write access to SharePoint lists are fully featured in Access 2007. This means that you can integrate your online SharePoint Lists into your own Access database forms, queries and reports.

So let’s find out how to link to the Issue Tracking List we just setup in SharePoint. Firstly, you need to choose the SharePoint List button on the External Data tab in the Ribbon as shown in Figure 5. This brings up a list of all of the SharePoint sites that you have been connected to in the past. If the project isn't in the list, copy and paste the HyperlinkAddress in your browser Address bar for the SharePoint project that your List is stored in. Figure 6 shows you a list of all of the Lists in the SharePoint project that you can link to.

At the end of the Linking Wizard, which will involve username and password and site location questions when you first run it, you will end up with a linked table as shown in Figure 7. This process, from start to finish, should take a  few minutes once you understand where things are entered.

Lets Export a Table to a SharePoint List

A different way of working, that you may find really handy with SharePoint, is exporting a table* that you would normally store in your database into a SharePoint project List. You will find that as SharePoint grows to be more popular, this approach will become popular too because you can solicit data entry/management from anyone who has a browser and uses the SharePoint site. This audience can be much bigger than the Access audience.

NOTE: It is my view that anyone running a large Access database will not want to put all of the database into SharePoint. Rather I believe it will be far more prudent to put just a few tables into the SharePoint site.

To export a table to SharePoint, choose the External Data tab in the Ribbon and select the table that you want to export. Now identify the SharePoint project that you want to export into and the table will be created in SharePoint. Once you have checked that the table is OK in SharePoint, delete** the table in Access and relink to SharePoint as per the previous instructions. You can see a table that I have exported from Access in Figure 8.

How to Fix a Missing Ntoskrnl.Exe File

The "NTOSKRNL.EXE" file plays an important role in starting up the computer. If this file is missing or corrupted, Windows will fail to boot until you replace the file. Some viruses like "w32.bolzano" and its variants infect the "NTOSKRNL.EXE" file, causing a similar problem. You must perform one or more of the possible fixes to remedy the issue so your computer can boot again.

1) Turn on a working computer with its keyboard plugged in and test if the keyboard is working properly. If it is, shut down that computer, unplug the keyboard and plug it into the system that is suffering from the missing "NTOSKRNL.EXE" file. Turn on the system to see if the replaced keyboard resolves the problem.

2) Press the "F8" key right after the system initializes the boot sequence and before the Windows logo shows up to bring up a menu of boot options. Choose the "Last Known Good Configuration" option with the arrow keys and press the "Enter" key.

3) Insert your Microsoft Windows installation disc. Restart the computer and press the "R" key on your keyboard once you reach the "Microsoft Setup" menu.

4) Choose the operating system that you wish to repair, type in your admin password when prompted and press the "Enter" key. Type "bootcfg /rebuild" and press the "Enter" key to rebuild the Windows "boot.ini" file, which may also resolve the issue.

5) Type "chkdsk /r" and press the "Enter" key to scan the entire hard disk for errors. Type "exit" and press the "Enter" key to exit the "Recovery Console." Restart your computer and see if Windows boots properly.

To fix the script error when printing from IE9

Downloading and installing the latest driver for your printer can resolve this issue. There are two methods to find and install a printer driver. If the first method does not resolve your issue, proceed to the next method.

Method 1: Update your printer drivers using Windows Update

You might need to set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Installing any important, recommended, and optional updates can update system features and other software that might help to fix your printer problems. To update to the latest printer driver for your printer using Windows Update, click the link specific to your version of Windows and follow the steps in the that article:

Fix blurry Fonts text in Internet Explorer 9

Solutions to fix blurry Fonts text in Internet Explorer 9

Update Your Fonts:
Make sure that you have the latest font updates from Windows Update.
An update has been released that updates some fonts to improve the rendering of those fonts at small sizes (8-10pt) in Internet Explorer 9. The updated versions of Arial, Verdana, and Tahoma fonts include new hinting logic that renders more clearly using sub-pixel-positioned ClearType text rendered using the DirectWrite APIs used by Internet Explorer 9's hardware-accelerated text rendering.

ClearType Tuning
For best results, you should tune ClearType for your particular display hardware.
Windows 7 users can use the built-in ClearType tuner found in the Windows Control Panel under “Appearance and Personalization / Fonts / Adjust ClearType text” to adjust your ClearType settings. Windows Vista users can use the online tuner from within Internet Explorer. (The online tuner must be used with Internet Explorer because it depends on an ActiveX control.)

Adjust the Gamma settings for your display
Make sure that your Gamma settings are adjusted correctly for your display.
Calibrating your display ensures that the colors are displayed correctly on your monitor. Verify that the Gamma is set correctly for your display by running the Display Calibration tool in Windows.

To run the Display Color Calibration help tool, click Start and type Display in the Search box and then click Display. Click Calibrate color from the options in the left pane and then follow the instructions to calibrate your display.

Note: Many video card manufacturers also include a Control Panel Applet with their video drivers that can be used to adjust Gamma and other display settings. Refer to your hardware manufacturer or hardware documentation that came with your PC for more information

Check your Viewing Angle
Adjust the viewing angle of your monitor to correct any inconsistencies.
Make sure that the monitor is not tilted to far up, down or to either side from where you normally view the monitor, the best viewing angle for the monitor is to view it at a 90 degree angle.

Check your font size
Consider your font size
If your current Font size or Dots per Inch (DPI) is set higher than 100%, the text and other items on the screen may appear blurry in programs that are not designed for high–DPI display. Check to see if the font size is 100% (the Windows default), if the font size is greater than 100%, set the DPI back to 100% and test to see if the fonts appear more clearly.

To check the font size, follow these steps:
Open Fonts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Display.
The font size will be displayed.
If the Font size is larger than 100%, click Smaller - 100% (default).
Click Apply, log off and then back on to the user account and test the fonts in Internet Explorer.

Digital cables vs. VGA cables
Consider your current Monitor, Video card and the type of cable used.

Manufacturers are now including both an Analog connections and a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connections on LCD monitors. When connecting your computer to an LCD monitor with an analog connection, the signal is vulnerable to the same distortions or line noise that can affect CRT (Liquid Crystal Display) monitors. When using a DVI connection, there is no digital-to-analog conversion and corruption of the signal does not occur. The LCD monitor will give a much sharper image than on a CRT when you using a DVI connection.

Screen Resolution
Consider adjusting your screen resolution.
Lower resolution screen settings can affect font clarity, for example, with a screen resolution of 800 X 600 (wher the monitor supports much higher resolutions), fonts can appear blurry where adjusting the screen resolution to a higher resolution such as 1280 x 720 may help the fonts appear much more clearly. It's a good practice to set your monitor to its native resolution—the resolution a monitor was designed to display based on its size. To see your monitor's native resolution, check the display settings in Control Panel.

Note: The resolution marked (recommended). This is your LCD monitor's native resolution—usually the highest resolution your monitor can support.

To verify or change your screen resolution, follow these steps:
Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, and clicking Adjust screen resolution.
Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
Click Keep Changes to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.

Select Repair. After which Vista's System Recovery Tool will start.

Select Startup Repair and let Vista do its thing! That really is all there is to it!

If that doesn't work try this:

SOLUTION 2 :

If the previous method does not resolve the problem, you can rebuild the BCD store by using the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment. To do this, follow these steps:

I went threw alot of trouble shooting from some of the member here at 2K that keeps telling me it had to do with out of date drivers for a video card or sound card. These 2 driver would not affect the CPU and make it stake up shut down the program. They keep looking at the Exception Code: c0000005 and was not looking at the BEX. BEX was the key to causing my problem.
Often BEX errors are caused by Toolbars such as Google, TrendMicro
and others. Are you using any 3rd party toolbars in IE? Cause and fix is same for Vista and Windows 7.

What antivirus/antispyware/security product do you have on machine?
Include any you have EVER had on this machine including those you
uninstalled (they leave remnants behind which causes issues).

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Add-ons
does this work better?
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Tab - click Restore Advanced Settings and then click RESET - APPLY / OK
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security Tab - click Reset all zones -
APPLY / OK
Close and restart IE and/or IE with no addons
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons -

does this work better?

IE - Tools - Manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, this
is no longer needed but Java still installs it and it causes issues - you ever update Java go back in and disable it again.) Look for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - Tools - Software Explorer - look for issues with programs that do not look right. Permitted are usually OK and "not permitted" are not always bad.
I think these are some related issue which can cause of this problem.

How to Recover a Virus Infected File

Computer viruses should be a concern for any computer owner. Not only do viruses slow down system performance and possibly steal personal information, but they can also disable a computer entirely and cause a total loss of data. Although anti-virus software and safe Internet habits go a long way in preventing a virus infection to begin with, the risk of one slipping through and infecting important files on your system is always present. Not all files are capable of being repaired from a virus infection, and the process to attempt it takes some time and patience.

Instructions to recover Virus Infected Files

1) Access My Computer through the "Start" menu and click on "Properties."

2) Choose the tab labeled "Performance" and then select "File System."

3) Click on "Troubleshooting" and then choose "Disable System Restore." This is necessary prior to attempting a file repair so the computer doesn't call up an earlier version of the file that also has a virus infection in it.

4) Open your anti-virus software and select "Update" to retrieve the most recent virus definitions and information. This will benefit you when trying to delete or repair virus-infected files.

5) Scan your entire system using your anti-virus software. It will show a list of infected files at the end of the scan.

6) Right-click on each file you want to repair. Choose "Repair" from the context menu. The anti-virus software will delete the virus and restore the original file if it is able to do so.
